Art post: Two sides with candy

Hello readers!

Today I want to show you two drawings on which I've been working for a long time.
As usual. I'm so slow. >_< I showed the finished outlines in August 2012 here. :D
The colouration was done a while ago. I thought both would look good with a frame.
So I gave them both one. They are very different. The colour scheme is very different and also the theme
and idea behind both drawings are very different. But both are done with multiliner,
coloured pencils and copic marker. Oh, and by the way, they are on the same piece of paper. :D
Well, here are the results. ^_^

The image is an attempt to draw pastel purple, pastel blue and pastel pink hair with candy as hair accessories. :D I wish my hair would have these colours by nature.
I drew this to show the contrast between unstyled (left) with no makeup or hair done and fully dressed up with makeup, circle lenses and hairstyle (right). The whole thing is inspired by my own “normal” look and the look when I wear Lolita.

Thank you for reading! ^_^

November looks back to October

Hello readers!

It's still pretty outside with the colorful leaves. But slowly gets the weather horrible. The days become also dark, not only cold and rainy. Therefore, it's more difficult to take photos outdoors.

These photos were taken last month about a week after the photos that I've already uploaded here where I wore the brown Toy March Jumperskirt.
As I wrote, lately I often wore rather simple outfits and also more classic Lolita. Some Lolitas seem to limit themselves to one Lolita style, but I really don't see it that way. Why should anyone only wear sweet clothes and not just everything that she or he likes? And somehow I think that classic is a good style for autumn. I've this outfit in mind, since I bought the dress of Lady Sloth. Finally I was able to take some pictures with it.
As actually always, the photos were taken by Schnatterinchen. In fact I took photos of her that day,  because she need some. We both took a lot, really a lot of pictures.

Dress - Lady Sloth's Silk Cherubins // Blouse - offbrand // Thights - offbrand // Shoes - offbrand // Headbow - Angelic Pretty Dessert Collection // Bag - Angelic Pretty // Umbrella - Lisbeth Dahl // Coat - H&M // Accessories - New Yorker, koolkatkustom, claire's

Lippenbekenntnisse

Hello readers! (^_^)/

About a week ago, Schnatterinchen and I went by train to Halle to visit a little Lolita meeting there.
She's not Lolita, but she has her very own colourful style and she likes to come to meetings with me.
It was a pretty nice meeting and we met nice Lolitas there.
The weather was great and we decided to take some photos first.
I know this is a matter of taste, but I love the fall, the colours and everything. Also, I love to take photos with the sun in the back.
After that, we visited a lipstick exhibition. It was interesting and the exhibits and the conceptual design were very pretty. The design of the frames of the respective texts to the time periods matched the time. ^_^

I decided to wear a toned down Lolita outfit that day. Actually, I lately wear, when I wear Lolita, always rather simple and classic outfits. But that doesn't mean I'll don't wear sweet again in the future.
I'm sorry for my hair. I swear I curled it the day before. But it was very windy that day and as soon as I left the house it looked just um ... like a mess.
Here are some pictures:

Skirt - Angelic Pretty Rose Prinzess // Blouse - offbrand // Cardigan (kind of, I don't know how to call this piece of clothing) - offbrand // Coat - H&M // Socks - Innocent World // Shoes - offbrand // Accessories - claire's (including the little bow I wore in my hair which you can't see on the pictures), offbrand
That's everybody. ^__^ There are also individual pictures of the others, but to be on the safe side, I only show my pictures here. Except for the group photo of course.
And that's just a picture of the fabric of my skirt. I really love it. And it's nice for autumn.
In the evening we went to a cafe (or restaurant? :D). I don't took pictures of all our food ... but I need some food pictures here. I neeed them! :D
That's all for today. I'm looking forward the next meeting.

Thüringen August 2013 part II

Hello readers! (^_^)/

The second part of my blogposts about my trip to Thüringen in August this year could also have the title: butterflies, other insects and nature. :D Here you can find the first part -> click. ^u^
Actually, my photos from travels in nature always look like that. Haha. I take pictures of every butterfly and every flower. When I travel to a city, I often take pictures of buildings and architecture. There are rarely people on my photos when I travel.
Here are the photos of the second day. We walked to a source. We visited it already as small kids. It's one - the first - of the two Werra sources. It looks like a lion's head. There were many butterflies along the way and the weather wasn't as dark and stormy as the day before. That was really nice.

Maybe that's weird, but I think this looks cute. ^_^
And this is cute too. It has an orange bum. :D
Because I take pictures of everything, I'm always behind the others.
These are wild raspberries. I love raspberries. They don't look good, but they were delicious.
The lion head of the source. There grows moss where water flows along.
It looks a little as if the lion would ....oh no, I shouldn't write that. XD
This butterfly looks kind of interesting. There were a lot of this type, which seemed somehow tattered. Like old paper, that lay in the sun. If they were just old or if this is how this butterflies look like?
This cutie has a few parasites...
...and this caterpillar was huge! No, really huge. You've no idea. :D It was really interesting to see how it moves

Then we were on our way home and found in the parking lot of a village this accident victim:

Any help came too late, it already had lost too much blood, uh ink. Sad story. He certainly has family.

Thüringen August 2013 part I

Hi Readers! (^_^)/

Today I'll start to write about my holidays in Thüringen in August. Late, I know.
I lost the memory card with all this pictures, but I found it yesterday. ^_^;
This trip is of sentimental value. So this entry and these photos are probably only interesting to me.
Nevertheless, I would like to share my pictures.

My holiday pictures rarely show people. But everything else.
I'm not going anywhere without taking photos. According to others, it's hard to go hiking with me, because I take pictures of everything. Haha. Actually, I see my holidays and travels only through the viewfinder.
Due to this habit my family made fun of me many times. ^u^

This holiday trip has personal value, because my family travels to this place for many years. Since the 70s, I think. Early, just after we were born, we traveled to exact that place. Haha, I use "we" because of my brother. Just in case you wonder. Later, especially in the years of primary school, we went there only with our grandparents. So I associate this place with my grandparents very much.

Sorry, this entry is picture-heavy!

The light was a bit strange that day. Very sunny alternating with darkness and the clouds of a thunderstorm.
We walked through this valley every year for many years, but we never sat on this bench before. ^__^
Just another bench.
Look at that sky! So gloomy, but the sun came through here and there.
These two toys are the only ones that are still there of the toys we used as kids on this playground. And the one on the left is broken. The wooden wheel is missing. But it was nice to see, that's still something there. And look at the seesaw. It's perfectly balanced. :D
This old outdoor theater is really nice. Although the bench seats are covered with plants. Haha, especially because the bench seats are covered with plants.
My brother climbed on everything, just like a kid. Also on this raised hide.
After our walk we sat down for tea and cake on the terrace. Many of the furnishings and household items have GDR charm. Mmm, okay, you don't see it here. :D  But it's true. The also have these egg cups made of plastic in the form of roosters.

I'm currently working on two entries about photo shoots in Lolita.
So, see you soon with an entry with photos of me wearing Toy March.

Thanks for reading! (^_^)/
