Gold, Feathers and Ponies - Christmas is near

Hello readers!

It's December! I'll not write much today, i just want to share some outfits with you.
It seemed to me that I didn't wore Lolita in years. Well, this weekend will be a Christmas Teaparty and I'll be there. So finally a nice occasion to wear a pretty and detailed outfit.

But first some pictures of three outfits from a while back.
They all have ponies somewhere, a little gold and feathers. Because at the moment I love to add feathers to my head accessories.
Also, I always wore the same blouse. This is something I like to do. I take a dress or another garment and try to wear it with as many as possible outfits.
I'm sorry for the lighting. It was pretty dark outside that day and my light is a joke.

Dress - Angelic Pretty Toy March // Blouse - taobao // OTKs - Angelic Pretty // Shoes - An*Tai*Na // Hat - handmade // Headbow - Angelic Pretty // Bag - Angelic Pretty Pony // Accessories - Angelic Pretty, offbrand
I love this dress. I'll wear it for the Christmas event, but in an other outfit.
Dress - Angelic Pretty Twinkle Carnival // Blouse - taobao // OTKs - Alice and the Pirates // Shoes - An*Tai*Na // Headbow - Angelic Pretty (I added a feather) // Bag - Angelic Pretty // Umbrella - Lisbeth Dahl // Accessories - offbrand
Dress - Angelic Pretty Royal Unicorn // Blouse - taobao // OTKs - Angelic Pretty // Shoes - An*Tai*Na // Headbow - Angelic Pretty // Head accessories - H&M (sadly the feather is missing here on the picture) // Bag - Angelic Pretty // Umbrella - Lisbeth Dahl // Accessories - offbrand
Thank you for reading and see you soon with a post about the Christmas Teaparty!

The pumpkin told me to dance & I just jumped with my hands on my hips to the left back in time

Hello readers,

so today is Halloween. I decided to write something, because I felt the need to do so. I'm a horrible blogger and the time gaps between the posts are getting bigger and bigger.

First something halloweenish, because I just found this on my external hard drive and now I want to share it everywhere. It’s an edited scan of a drawing in my sketchbook i did around halloween last year.

And this is the page without my weird editing I did back then for whatever reason.

It'll might get better somewhen in the near future. But in the meantime there's just no real occasion to blog. However, if there is a nice event, if I eventually find the inspiration and draw or if there are a few nice photos in Lolita, I'll post them here.

I also thought about the opportunity to write down some thoughts here. What I think about creativity and the possibilities of expression in Lolita fashion. What I think about creativity in general, and on the creative manufacturing of handmade designs in particular. And also about the changes, communities and the changes of communities in the worldwide Lolita community.
But for now I'll do nothing of the sort. Simply because this has to be good planned entries and I've to write other things first. Not here, for university. But if this massive paperwork should be done at some point, then I'll have more time and inclination for my blog again. Because I actually really liked blogging. And living. Two of the things I don't really do at the moment.
Well, university means, opt for two of these things: enough sleep, good grades or social life.
Only two, three aren't possible.
This entry ended pretty creepy. Actually I should now write something funny to bright up the mood again. Unfortunately I can not think of anything funny.

Thanks for reading and
Happy Halloween!

Throwback Sunday - Wörlitzer Park

Hello readers,

we visited the Wörlitzer garden earlier this year, it was around easter. The garden is an important part of the "Dessau-Wörlitzer Gartenreich", which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It was created under the reign of Prince Leopold III. Friedrich Franz of Anhalt-Dessau in the second half of the 18th century. We just took a walk in one part of the garden. There is a lot to explore and it's worth more than one visit.
Attention: I made a lot of photos, that means this blog post is very picture-heavy!

You can click on the pictures to enlarge them! At that time the cherry trees were blooming.
There are several statues spread over the park and there are various islands that can be reached by ferries and boats.
You can click on the pictures to enlarge them! The atmosphere of each part of the park was different. This tunnel leads directly into a stream.

Beautiful cherry blossoms everywhere! It's very worthwhile to go there in the spring. You can click on the pictures to enlarge them.
I really liked all the historicizing statues and buildings. You can click on the pictures to enlarge them.

I was super close to this swan. So close I could have stroked it. But I didn't touched it, I only took thousands of photos.
There were a lot of peacocks in Schochs Garden. And beautiful visual axes. The garden is perfectly planned. All visual axes are not only nice to look at they also make wonderful motives for pictures.
A very striking visual axis at the bottom right: the Temple of Venus from the perspectiveof the Wolfsbrücke.

The Gothic House was built from 1773 after the plans of Erdmannsdorff and Planning Director Georg Christoph Ezekiel. The specialty of this building are its two different facades. This front is the front of a Venetian church.
Bottom Left
: the other side follows the style of the Tudor Gothic. The fountain on the bottom right is in the courtyard of the building.

And all around the building, particularly on the Tudor Gothic side, were peacocks. This one peahen was very photogenic. I've tons of nice pictures of her. You can click on the pictures to enlarge them.

Another view of the Gothic house through an orchard.
Nice flowers and a pretty path.
The "Romantische Partie" is a part of the garden that has labyrinthine grottos and rock tunnels.
Also there are a couple of bridges such as this chain bridge. You can click on the pictures to enlarge them.

That was my favorite visual axis: the Venus Temple from the perspective of a grotto.

Look at that sky! I loved the light in the late afternoon. The Venus Temple looked amazing.

As we walked back to the car, I photographed another view of the Gothic House and a rapeseed field and the field with cherry trees. The yellow field, the blue sky and the flowers looked great together.

I hope you like this little look into the Wörlitzer gardens. It's really just a glimpse, there is more to see there. If you ever come near Dessau: It's really worth a visit.

Thanks for reading!
