Art post: Music in the air

Hello readers! (^ - ^)/

Now that's an entry without the theme Lolita. Very unusual for me.

As I wrote in one of the last post, I draw a lot at the moment. Unfortunately, I don't finish something.
I'm dissatisfied with everything. o(▽≦)o Even when I look at my old drawings, I don't like a single one.
But basically it doesn't matter, because drawing is just a hobby.
It would be bad if I were an artist. But I'm not, so yeah! o(≧∇≦o)
This drawing was easy for me. What a surprise! It was finished very quick. \(^-^)/
However, there are various "finished" versions of my music picture.
I don't like the finished picture the best, but one of the "unfinished" states.
I don't know why. But I like often the "unfinished" drawing better than the finished picture.
That is also the reason why I take pictures of a lot of unfinished states.
Afterwards I see when I messed my drawing up.
Something else I don't like are titles. I hate looking for a title for every single picture.
Therefore my titles are always terrible. But without isn't good either. For all online galleries you need titles.
Usually you can't upload the picture without. That's not good for me. (-_- )
 Okay, enough of that.
Here are some pictures of the work in progress:

These are not good photos. Sorry for that. (-_-)
Does anyone know which piece of music I used? ^-^ The one who knows it gets  .... well, nothing.
But I would be very impressed! ^v^ It's a little hint in this photo.
I really like this version.
This is the first finished version. But I'm not happy with it.
The second finished version. I like this better.
When I was younger (with 8 - 13 years), I drew a lot of pictures like this.
Long, long hair and long, long dresses and many wavy lines.
(◡‿◡✿)

Maybe someone noticed that my blog has a new header. (^_^)
That's what I wanted to do for a long time. I was never really happy with my header.
And I'm still not happy with it.
But it's okay, isn't it? What do you think?
Or do you like my old one better:

Thanks for reading!

Lolita meet-up Leipzig

 Hello readers!

About a week ago was a Lolita meeting here and I was there. ^-^
There are not many meetings around here, so I was very excited.
This time there were really a lot of Lolitas there and
I hope in the future there will be more meetings in my area.
The weather was great and we had a picnic in the park. :D

Of course we took some pictures.
Unfortunately, there is no group picture. > / / / <
There are only photos with a part of the girls.
Since there are maybe some girls who don't like to see their photos everywhere,
because of that there are not so many photos of the others.

A part of our lovely group. ^-^
I wore Angelic Pretty's Wonder Party. The print matches the picnic theme.
Kafu wore her dream dress ichigo millefeuille. ^_^

 Thanks for reading!

Everything and nothing

Hello readers! (^∇^ )

After my bad luck, it now seems quite likely I could get a dress of my top 5 dreamdresses.

The luck came back to me!
But I don't want to be to happy about that. Maybe it does not work.

Actually, I wanted to post more new drawings and I draw a lot at the moment.
 But I finish nothing.(iДi)
 All pictures are still unfinished.

So instead of drawings, I'll post some photos. ( ω)
The last week I was in our garden. We have some berries there. I love blackberries and redcurrants.
These berries were ready to be harvested.

There were quite a lot of baby snails in the bushes.

I took a lot of photos. (◡‿◡✿)

I love to photograph the nature. Especially flowers and insects.
Just as much as I love to photograph food.
Many people think that's annoying, because I take pictures of the food in restaurants, at parties, other events ...
 o(▽≦)o
Oh, actually I take pictures of anything and everything.

Yummy cake with my grandma last Thursday.

 And a picture of me:

Usually I do not wear my hair like that, but somehow it looked good. Yeah, not much make up that day. ^-^ (cool softener from my camera. :D)
I'm always surprised how different Lolita looks:

I look like a different person, right?

XD
Enough with the pictures spam.

I'm thinking about making a FAQ.
I've never thought about it before, but I get some questions very often.
Does anyone have questions?
When I really do, then it should be possibly extensive.

Okay, that's all for now.
Thank you for reading!

Photo shoot: strawberry park

Hello readers! (^-^)

Before I come to the photo shootI want to talk a little bit about my bad luck:
I have really bad luck with Lolita at the moment. >///<
I was close to get the number 2 (Twinkle Carnival in black) of my wishlist. But then I missed it, although I was very close. The same with two other dresses of my top10. Soooo close! T_T
But the worst was the new AP Print Chocolate rosette. I tried to reserve it, but it was too late.
My Shopping Service tried to buy it, but the whole series was sold out very quickly. (On the day of release!). Then I missed the dress at various auctions. T_T
This little story was especially for people who think I always get everything I want without problems. (These people know who I mean. :D)
Sometimes for Lolita you need a lot of patience. XD
I hope that I get the JSK in navy. It's so pretty and it was Love at first sight.

A friend took some pictures of me in APs Ichigo Millefeuille last month.
Perhaps you remember how I posted the idea for the photo shoot earlier. ^-^
Previously I checked the weather reports. At that time it rained a lot and I searched for periods at which it should not rain. On the day of the photo shoot, the weather was very nice. It was nice, except for the few minutes where it was raining heavily. XD At precisely the time when we tried to take pictures. After that and before that it was great. XD

But enough of that. Here are some pictures:
Attention! This post is very image-heavy.

Dress: Angelis Pretty Ichigo Millefeuille JSK  Blouse: Bodyline  Socks: Heart Lace OTK Socks  Shoes: An*Tai*Na  Umbrella: Lisbeth Dahl  Bag: Angelic Pretty  Accessories: offbrand  Hair Accessories: H&M, claire's
Because of the strong wind I tried to fly with the umbrella. XD
This is something like a funny, semi-intentional outtake. XD
This is one of my favorite pictures! ^-^
My photographer! <3

 Bye!
Thanks for reading! ^-^

Review: Lady Sloth's Silk Cherubins Series

Hello readers! (^-^)

About a month ago I ordered a dress from the little polish Lolita label Lady Sloth (click for the facebookpage).
The dress is from her series "Silk Cherubins". The production time is about 2-3 weeks.
There are three different versions of this dress. I bought the first Version: the JSK with velvet bodice (100% velvet and 100% silk (the skirt part) ^-^). It is also possible to order the dress with cotton bodice or completely made of silk. Furthermore there are skirts with the fabric with the very detailed print and hair bows and matching wrist cuffs. :D
The dress is custom made, so there are no standard sizes. Which's great! It fits like a second skin. :) However, you have to measure all measurements really carefully, otherwise it might not fit well.

I'm very pleased with everything. The order went quite fast and the communication was friendly and informative. The dress looks absolutely gorgeous and it fits perfectly.
In order to illustrate the whole ordering process in a clear numbering system:

               communication: 5/5
    shipping: 5/5
        packaging: 5/5
quality: 5/5

I recommend Lady Sloth and her pretty designs! ^-^

And here are some pictures:

The silk is a little wrinkled. This is because of the packaging for shipping. The wrinkles hang out after a while.
The print is beautiful! ^.^ And the silk feels soft and light.

Some close-ups.
Lining and the label of the dress (and the zipper).
Lining and a close-up of the seam. It is a little distorted at the point where the fabric is stitched together. But that's not very noticeable.
The dress worn. ^-^ (A little photo experiment. XD)
