Art post: pastel stars and green roses

Hello readers!

Do you remember this picture?
Pretty much all these drawings are now coloured. ^ - ^ It took me years to finish something.
Unfortunately I lost the pictures of the work in process. The picture above is the only one I could find.

I'm not happy. Usually I photograph my colored pictures, because the scanner destroys everything.
But that's not an optimal solution. It works better than the scanner, but it's still not a perfect reproduction of the original. >///< This is why I try it in a different way now.
I just edited the pictures with my image editing program and created a "new picture".

So, these are the finished drawings:

This is an A4 sheet on which I drew two completely different pictures. ^∇^It looks like a dark and a light twin.
The color doesn't look good here. Above (on the twin picture) they are better. `)
This is my favorite of the twin picture. It's because, there are some of my favorite colours in this pic. And the necklace is inspired by one of my necklaces. ^-^
A little close-up. Even here you can't see all the shades of colour of the original. U_U But maybe you get an idea of it.

And it's an anniversary today!   (。⌒∇⌒)
One year ago (
on the 16th November 2011) I wrote the first blog entry!
A year is now around. Let's hope for another. ^u^
It's great that people are interested in what I'm doing. I hope you'll also like my future drawings and photos and all that! First of all, I do things that I like. (▽≦) That other people like it too is great.
Thanks to all who follow me and to all who support me.
*3^)

That's all for now.
Thanks for reading!

Halloween Lolita Meet-up

Hello readers! \(^_^)/
Et bonjour lecteurs!

The last time Blogger was very strange and did not work correctly. (>///<)
For example, it don't showed my normal font size. That was really annoying. I hope it works this time.

On 28.10. was a meeting of our local Lolitagroup! Yes, it wasn't exactly on Halloween, but the theme of the meet-up was Halloween.
In the end, our outfits don't look like Halloween Outfits. But it was better like that, because we planned to go to a museum. (^_^)
On this day, in this museum was the last day of a fair for applied arts, so that there were quite a few people (more than usual). I didn't like that very much, but the reactions were generally positive.
This isn't always the case. Sometimes some people say really nasty things.

I would also write about the museum, but I don't bought a permission to take pictures in the exhibition.
Maybe I'll write a little report later to the museum, of course, with photos. This is much more vivid.
So we were at the museum and later we went to an asian restaurant.
It was quite cold outside and the sun went down early.
So we took a few pictures, despite the pressure of time, before we went to the restaurant.

That's me on this day:

I always forget that. But I'm often asked what I'm wearing. So here we go: Dress, Headbow: Angelic Pretty, Blouse: Dear Celine, OTKs: Chantilly, Shoes: Offbrand, Jewelery: New Yorker
And here some pictures of some of the other girls:

Later (after dinner) we took group photos:

On the right side is a wall with water. That was great! We took some photos there.
Here is mine. (^_^)
We ate at Mr. Moto. This is a sushi bar in Leipzig. I don't eat often in restaurants and I would never go to a sushi bar, because I can't eat fish or food with fishy flavor. Even the smell is actually too much. But it was okay and most of the others want to eat there.
And that's the food: (^.^)

The fishy dish of my neighbor. It looked interesting. Many of the other girls (and me too) ordered rice with vegetables. It was delicious. I also took photos of my food, but the light was bad, and the image was too blurry. Well, but a bowl of rice doesn't look that exciting. Everyone can imagine what it looked like. (▽≦)
Some ordered desserts afterwards. My food was very filling. And it was just a side dish.`)

The desserts looked nice! (^_^)
After dinner we took the group photos and we had a table firework.
The table firework was actually the only thing that belonged to Halloween. There were some plastic spiders, masks and hats in it.
(。⌒∇⌒)

Directly on Halloween I wasn't wearing Lolita.
I tried to create a circus-inspired outfit. I don't know if I succeeded.
I tried two versions, because the first one looked too ... too normal. o(≧∇≦o)
Here it is:

That makeup....nooooo. XD
Blouse: Dear Celine, Vest: H&M, Dress (here I used it as skirt XD): bought somewhere in Italy, OTKs: Chantilly, Shoes: an*tai*na, Mask: purchased somewhere to Carnival, Hair Accessories: Chocomint
Okay, that's it for now.
I hope you had all a spooky Halloween. (`∀´)Ψ
A slightly late Halloween post, but better late than never.

Thanks for reading!

Trip to Paris Part 2

Hello readers!

    `~~~'
 Happy Halloween!

This is the second post about my trip to Paris. I'll write soon about Halloween and our Lolita meeting. (^-^)
We spent our second day almost entirely in the musée du Louvre.
It's huuugee! No, it's super huge. Le musée est super super énorme!
If you want to see everything you definitely need more than one day.
We walked without a long stop and we end up missing more than one floor!
I regret that we saw nothing of the decorative arts and the prints and drawings.
But I'm looking forward to the next visit
There are many large collections like the collection of paintings, egyptian antiquities, near eastern antiquities, sculptures, decorative arts, islamic art, prints and drawings and greek, etruscan, and roman antiquities.
And all is well worth seeing. So you have to (if you only have one day) make decisions and choose what you want to see the most.

The entrance with the ticket office and cloakrooms is covered by the famous glass pyramid. We had wonderful weather. But we were inside all day. :D
I have a good sense of direction. But even with the plan of the museum, it's possible to get lost. We found this beautiful staircase by accident. XD Not only the exhibits, the building is also very interesting.
I loved the sculptures most. The greek, etruscan and roman antiquities were really beautiful.
They are really great, aren't they? ^_^
That's me. Actually, I studied the plan of the Louvre, but here I look out of the window. XD
My mothers took these photos. She photographed me with Jacques-Louis David. Most visitors seem not to appreciate these pictures (They had only eyes for Le Sacre de Napoléon), but I wanted to see his paintings Le Serment des Horaces and Les Licteurs rapportant à Brutus les corps de ses fils. The size surprised me a little.
La Gioconda. It wasn't easy to see this painting. There were too many people there and the barriers and the thick glass front made it difficult. When you go to a museum, then you want to see a  true picture. This is not possible with this painting. You get no feeling for it. That's a pity. But it's safer like this.
One of the rooms of applied arts. We watched in it briefly.
A very interesting collection is the collection of egyptian antiquities. It is very comprehensive and has many unique pieces.
As we left the museum and when we went over the jardin des tuileries, the sun went down. We went a little further over the place de la Concorde with the l'obélisque de Louxor towards l'Arc de Triomphe. The light was great.
We walked to our hotel. We walked a lot in those days. In this way you can see more of the city. For example, we saw beautiful shop windows like this one. ^-^ I love the styling of this mannequins.
Also we visited the Galeries Lafayette and the department store Au Printemps. You can find shops of all big fashion houses and perfumeries (like Prada, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Yves Saint Laurent and Burberry)  there. Because of the luxury fashion brands there are a lot of Japanese people. :D
This glass cupola is in the department store Au Printemps.
Both houses are worth seeing because they are in the Art Nouveau style.

Actually, we were almost entirely in the museum that day. Nevertheless, the day was very tiring. I slept like dead.
But writing about it makes me want to be there again.

 Enough for today. (^-^)
The next post will be about the Halloween meeting.

Thanks or reading!
