Today I finally wrote my entry for the Pentecost weekend. That was in the beginning of June and that means it's almost two months ago. So this entry comes late, but better late than never.
The Wave Gotik Treffen (WGT) is always around that time in Leipzig and there is also a picnic. A group of Lolitas planned a meet at this picnic. It's actually called 'Victorian Picnic', but since the WGT is for all kinds of Gothic related fashions, even our meet fits in the event.
I decided to wear APs Romantic Rose Letter to this occasion. The dress is very over the top and has something historicizing with a rococo touch. It's really nice to wear and the fabric falls in a nice, soft way. I customized a hat especially for this outfit. I felt quite comfortable, despite - as so often before - my eyes were in a bad shape that day.
The dress in all its beauty has one thing that really bothers me. It is difficult due to its cut to combine different outfits with it. This is a bad thing for me and also kind of a reason to sell it. Actually, I've always the goal to put as many different outfits with a dress together as possible. Now I don't know if the one-sidedness of the dress isn't not too limiting.

We took a few pictures before we went to the picnic. Unfortunately we arrived a bit late. The pictures look a little like hat advertising. Schnatterinchen did a great job and kept the hat from every conceivable angle.

AntwortenLöschenIch weiß, das das jetzt wirklich unhöflich ist, aber wenn du das Kleid verkaufen solltest, ich würde es in jedem Fall nehmen :D
Vielen Dank. :D Also eigentlich habe ich - als Person die damit Studienbedingt zu tun hat - meine tausend Modebücher als Inspiration genutzt. Aber ich weiss, was du meinst. Obwohl man noch dazu sagen muss, dass es ja weltweit einige Lolitas gibt, die ihren Kopfschmuck selbst machen.
LöschenAch nein, das ist nicht unhöflich. Ich habs ja selbst geschrieben. ^_^ Allerdings hatte ich mehr an das Tauschen des OPs in den JSK gedacht. Aber da muss ich noch drüber nachdenken. Wenn das mit dem Tausch aber nicht klappt, schreib ich dich gern an. :)
Stimmt schon, es gibt so viele talentierte Lolitas..auch wenn ich ihre Hüte und Coords allgemein immer noch am Schönsten finde..:)
LöschenDu solltest unbedingt mehr Hüte in dieser Art machen, es steht dir fantastisch und ist auch mal was ganz anderes.
Achso, dann hoffe ich mal das Beste- für mich ;) Die JSKs finde ich auch ganz toll, aber den mit dem tiefen Ausschnitt finde ich da am schönsten.
Oh eher nicht. Zumindest nicht so bald. Ich habe nicht viele Kleider, wo solche Hüte gut passen würden, daher würde ich nicht noch mehr machen. Dieses Kleid hat oben ein wenig an die französische Hofmode der 2. Hälfte des 18. Jhr. erinnert (vor den 1890ern wo dann Chemisenkleider ohne Mieder aufkamen) und daher der Hut, der von der Hofmode dieser Zeit und auch von der deutschen und franz. Damenmode der 1830er beeinflußt ist. Oje, was für ein grausiger Satz, entschuldige. ^_^;
LöschenIch mach lieber weiter kleinere Hüte, Bonnets und vll. etwas, was mehr an die Hüte des letzten drittels des 18 Jhr. erinnert. Es muss ja immer zum Kleid passen, und am besten zu mehreren. Variation ist mir sehr wichtig, deswwegen ist dieses Kleid, und auch in geringerem Maße der Hut, ja etwas problematisch. Zu einseitig.
Haha. Es ist immer gut, schon Interessenten zu haben. Das macht den Verkauf einfacher, weil da die Suche nach einem Verkäufer entfällt. ^_^ Mal sehen. Ich hab noch ein einfacheres Outfit mit dem Kleid als Idee im Kopf. Der JSK ist einfacher und vielseitiger. Mir gefällt auch der mit dem großen Ausschnitt am besten.
