Book Fair Leipzig 2014 - Wow, That was quick

It's been a while. But today I'm writing again.

In march it was time for the book fair in Leipzig again. I was looking forward to it, but this year wasn't really my year. Unfortunately I couldn't go every day, and also I had real trouble with my eyes. That was annoying and so my eye makeup was quite terrible the two days I visited the fair. I was very happy to meet some people again, but unfortunately I don't met everyone. So this event didn't go, as I would have wished for.

I also took some photos of some of the amazing looking people and the fair itself. But I didn't took that many pictures this year.

This is the outfit, which I then couldn't wear. It was planned for Friday, the day we didn't went to the fair. But we'll take pictures with it soon.

This is the outfit that I wore on Saturday. I'm pretty happy with it. That's rare. I made the hat for an other dress, but because the bonnet wasn't finished in time,  I've to wore something different. And I liked it.

There was a fashion show that day that was organized by Dunkelsüss. I took a lot of photos of every model and the show in general. But I show you just a few pictures of the ending with all models, so that there aren't so many photos in this entry. Here you also can see the book Shades of Wonderland: Die fabelhafte Welt japanischer Street Fashion, which was presented at the fair. This one here was raffled off later.

A few Lolita styles have been explained by the mods at the end of the show. Here you can see the Sweet Lolitas.

We took some more pictures after the show.

This is the most epic headdress I ever saw. It's a real book, so you've always something to read.

It was the fair of Day Dream Carnival outfits. So many people wore this dress.

It was getting darker and my camera started to weaken.
But look at all the beautiful Lolitas. I was very happy to meet everyone (again).

Then the day was over and the next day began! Nina was actually the only cosplayer I photographed. I really wish I took more pictures. At least I was able to photograph some more pretty Lolitas. The darkblue dress below is self made. I really love the colour.

And that's my outfit. I'm not that happy. Some details are just not the way I wished. Actually I planned to wear two white feathers on my head, to make the headdress a little more interesting. But it was too windy outside. And there are other things... On Sunday I met Maria and Isa again. We wore the same dress on purpose. I love how we all have different details in our outfits

It was a nice weekend and it was great to meet all the people. Even if it could have been more.
There was a lack of time somehow.
But there's always a next year. and I'm looking forward to it.

The details of a brown unicorn - Angelic Pretty's Royal Unicorn

It's the time of papers. I don't like that, but it's part of studying. I think I'm not a good student, because much of the university life gets on my nerves. It's not that I hate to learn. No, I really love to learn. I just hate to study. But I'm close to my master's degree, then it's over.

Sorry for all the talk about the university, now I come to the topic of this blog entry.

Actually, I don't buy so much Lolita related clothes nowadays. I have become very picky over the years and I don't like a lot of designs simply because there are some small details I don't like.

 But especially Angelic Pretty's Royal Unicorn series was love at first sight.

I think the fabric is the most beautiful, which Angelic Pretty ever used. It's just gorgeous. It's thick and the pattern is woven into the fabric. The hardest thing for me was to choose which style and which colourway I should get. Because I like the military style, I chose the JSK. And because brown goes well with the other things that I already own (like the brown Twinkle Carnival OTKs), I bought the brown JSK. But except for the pink version, I would like to have more items of this series in the future.

Really, no words can describe the beauty of the fabric and no photo can show it properly.

Nevertheless, I show you some photos here:

Everything still packed and with price tags. I also bought a few accessories to go with other dresses. That's why there are a pair of navy OTKs and a navy headbow.

Musee du Chocolat thights, Royal unicorn thights and headbow.

I thought the Musee du Chocolat thights would look nice with the JSK. And they do. But it is maybe a little too tone on tone. And both may go well with Chess Chocolate or the Toy March LP, but I've to try that.

I love the design of the tights. Especially on the top. Unfortunately you can't see it worn. They are made of a thick (hopefully durable) material.

And that is basically a picture of the whole set. Haha, oh no. I'm really sorry for the light.
It was nearly dark when I took the pictures. Nevertheless I hope you get an impression of the beauty.

The dress has a velvet bodice and also velvet waist ties, some beatiful golden details, tassels and a pretty brooch.

Loyalty OTKs and a headbow where I forgot the name. I bought this for my navy Toy March OP. And I think it also matches with Holy Night Story. Blue ist the best colour. I just love blue. And blue with red. Haha.
I bought the Brithish College OTKs with the same background thoughts a while back. You  can see them on the next picture.

Romantic Rose Letter OTK in pink, mint and sax and the sax headbow.  Romantic Rose Letter is a very pretty series. I really love it. I bought the socks and headbow for Tiara Rose and Memorial Cake. I've a lot blue dresses, so it may matches with other clothes too. Maybe the mint OTK look good with  Meta's Honey Picnic. But I'm not sure. And et plus: I hope to find the dress later and so I've some accessories already.

I really like the design of the socks. And the bow looks so pretty with the pearls and the rose. Thanks to the headbow I now know that Romantic Rose Letter is made ​​of a thin soft fabric. A lot softer and thinner than older flower prints.

This is an entry with many photos of clothes. I'm a little infatuated with pretty fabrics and designs. Haha, I hope you like it too. And by the way, I didn't bought everything at once. It's just what gathered over the last few months. I'm really looking forward to wear Royal Unicorn and the other stuff for the first time.

Christmas meet-up 2014

And here it comes: a very late entry about our local Christmas meeting. It's now a month ago.

We took pictures and then we visited a small exhibition and after that we went to a cafe. It was a really nice day. The original plan was to go to a Christmas market, but we did not go. Sitting in the cafe was nicer. And warmer. Have a few pictures:

One of the group pictures. We later took another photo in the beautiful staircase of the house, in which the exhibition was. Yes, I'm not on the picture, because I took it.

We also took some individual pictures. Paperella and Kittyone look great, don't they? Unfortunately I didn't take photos of everyone. But there are still great photos of everybody, because a others took some too.

Wishlist 2014

And as the last years I post something about my Lolita wishlist and also a small resume of 2013 at the beginning of the year.

Actually, I could write almost the same as last year. Haha. If you want to see it positively, those few changes just show that I know what I want. I always think about my dream dresses, so it's easier to clarify the priorities.

Here now I show you the dresses (yes, dresses only) which are on top of my wishlist. These lists are very personally and they are absolutely a matter of taste. But it's very helpful to have a list.

That helps to keep the money together. Whenever something nice appears for sale or auction, I look in my list and so I'll not be inveigled to impulsive purchases.
That's why I think, everyone should have a wishlist.

Regarding my wishlist 2013 passed exactly like 2012.

Because again I only got one of the dresses and again it was the number two of the list. And again, actually number one, because number one is almost unattainable. And again I'm so happy with this one dress.

 It's APs Toy March in navy.

All dresses on top of my wishlist are from the brand Angelic Pretty and some are very rare and hard to get.

I also like other dresses from other brands. But these have lower positions on my wishlist.

And I just love the design of AP.  ^_^

Without any exception, all the dresses of the list were love at first sight.

I already own some of the dresses in other colours. Sugary Carnival for example, which I have in blue (the first release of 2008) and pink (second release, 2011) or Chess Chocolate which I've in mint.

And the only reason, APs Royal Unicorn doesn't appear on a top position in the list is that I bought it.

Fortunately, there were many releases this year, I didn't like. But also some very nice.

 I'm very obsessed with details and somehow I always need a perfect (for my taste) overall appearance. I get very fastidious over the years.

 For some designs, there are even small things that ruin the whole piece for me.

1. Angelic Pretty Puppet Circus
  ♥♥♥♥♥

 This dress is and will always be my number 1!
 Even as the dress came out in 2006 it was clear that I have to get it one day. It's simply perfect.

It's made ​​of velvet and has a gold print. Absolutely perfect! My favorite is the red wine version as JSK.

 It appeared this year in auctions where I missed it twice. I know that sounds very materialistic, but it broke my heart both times. But I'm still full of hope, even after so many years. Someday it will be mine!

2. Angelic Pretty Chocolate Rosette 
 ♥♥♥♥♥

This was love at first sight. It's so different and beautiful. But it's always the same: it was sold out too fast.

 I only got the black socks and the blue and the brown headbow. The second release also brought me no luck. I still hope I'll find the navy JSK. The navy Toy March OP was my old number two, but I found it last year (actually in the end of 2012). Since it seems like I'm always getting the number two of my wishlist, I'll maybe get this dress this year. Haha. It would be great!

3. Angelic Pretty Star Night Theater
 ♥♥♥♥♥

This dress is on my wishlist for so long. Okay, not like Puppet Circus, but...I missed it more often very narrowly. That's frustrating. It was released in the same year as Memorial Cake (2009), which was one of my dreams for long. I've found it then, so I'm assuming I also find the blue or red Star Night Theater someday.

4. Angelic Pretty Chess Chocolate

It's almost the same story as with Twinkle Carnival or Chocolate Rosette. It wasn't possible for me to buy my dream dress. It was sold out too quick. But then it was re-released by Angelic Pretty (unusually fast) but I had no money at this time. Later, I bought it in mint and it's beautiful, but the brown JSK version is still my favorite.

5. Angelic Pretty Twinkle Carnival / Sugary Carnival
 ♥♥♥♥♥

 I know, these are two dresses. But I just couldn't make a decision and would be equally happy with one of them. The special colour of Sugary Carnival was already on my list and now the Twinkle Carnival special set is here too.
Unfortunately, the prices for this Sugary Carnival version are so incredibly high that it probably never will be mine. It's a little annoying because I had the chance to buy the Twinkle Carnival set. I don't know why, but I was so stupid not to do it. I think in the future it will be as rare and expensive as Sugary Carnival in this pretty blue colour. And in contrast to Puppet Circus, the price is a deterrent. Since the first release Sugary Carnival is one of my absolute favorites and Twinkle Carnival is also very pretty. ^_^

Normally I only show the first five places here. But because I just love looking at pretty dresses and I looked for pictures and there were so many...haha, here are some more dresses I really love.
Two of these are the sixth place and very important for me: Dessert Collection and Rose Toilette. I really love these dresses and they actually deserve a higher position.
Haha, this is not sorted by places in the list but by color and brand. ^u^
