The pumpkin told me to dance & I just jumped with my hands on my hips to the left back in time

Hello readers,

so today is Halloween. I decided to write something, because I felt the need to do so. I'm a horrible blogger and the time gaps between the posts are getting bigger and bigger.

First something halloweenish, because I just found this on my external hard drive and now I want to share it everywhere. It’s an edited scan of a drawing in my sketchbook i did around halloween last year.

And this is the page without my weird editing I did back then for whatever reason.

It'll might get better somewhen in the near future. But in the meantime there's just no real occasion to blog. However, if there is a nice event, if I eventually find the inspiration and draw or if there are a few nice photos in Lolita, I'll post them here.

I also thought about the opportunity to write down some thoughts here. What I think about creativity and the possibilities of expression in Lolita fashion. What I think about creativity in general, and on the creative manufacturing of handmade designs in particular. And also about the changes, communities and the changes of communities in the worldwide Lolita community.
But for now I'll do nothing of the sort. Simply because this has to be good planned entries and I've to write other things first. Not here, for university. But if this massive paperwork should be done at some point, then I'll have more time and inclination for my blog again. Because I actually really liked blogging. And living. Two of the things I don't really do at the moment.
Well, university means, opt for two of these things: enough sleep, good grades or social life.
Only two, three aren't possible.
This entry ended pretty creepy. Actually I should now write something funny to bright up the mood again. Unfortunately I can not think of anything funny.

Thanks for reading and
Happy Halloween!

Art post: Golden Stars for Christmas

Hello readers!

Merry Christmas!
I wish you all happy holidays. Today I'll show you what I drew for Christmas this year.
This time I finally wanted to use the golden stars that I've bought last year.
I began to draw at the beginning of December. Nevertheless, I finished it yesterday. I'm so slow.
As always, she wears colours that I love very much and also the blouse is basically one of my blouses.

Here are some pictures:

Art post: Two sides with candy

Hello readers!

Today I want to show you two drawings on which I've been working for a long time.
As usual. I'm so slow. >_< I showed the finished outlines in August 2012 here. :D
The colouration was done a while ago. I thought both would look good with a frame.
So I gave them both one. They are very different. The colour scheme is very different and also the theme
and idea behind both drawings are very different. But both are done with multiliner,
coloured pencils and copic marker. Oh, and by the way, they are on the same piece of paper. :D
Well, here are the results. ^_^

The image is an attempt to draw pastel purple, pastel blue and pastel pink hair with candy as hair accessories. :D I wish my hair would have these colours by nature.
I drew this to show the contrast between unstyled (left) with no makeup or hair done and fully dressed up with makeup, circle lenses and hairstyle (right). The whole thing is inspired by my own “normal” look and the look when I wear Lolita.

Thank you for reading! ^_^

Art post: Starry sky

Hello readers! (^__^)/

Today I want to show you a new drawing. I've been working on this picture for a long time. Well, that's not entirely true. I believe I began to draw sometime in late 2008. And that in 2010 the outlines were done. In between, I didn't touch it for longer periods of time. At every step, I was afraid to ruin it. Haha, but that's always my problem. Especially when it comes to colouration. I'm never really satisfied, but here I'm quite happy with the result. And also, I'm so glad that this time the scanner hasn't ruined everything. ^_^

The clothes she wears is something I like personally. Blouses with bowtie and the colours red and blue, as well as the partially visible top in military-style is something, I love very much. Now, the hat isn't really my cup of tea. I would draw it differently today. But I still like her clothes.
Hope you like it. ^_^

Moonlight Melodies

Hello readers! (^_^)/

Today is a holiday and I finally write an entry, I wanted to write for days. As already mentioned, I worked on a new header. As always, I drew terribly slooooow. I took my time, especially for the colouration.
But then, the drawing was finally finished. (^___^)
Unusually (for me) I'm satisfied with the drawing.
First, I wanted to use a photo of me for the new header. Some of you may see my FBM entry.
And you may remember this picture:

I really love my blue Milky Planet, but in my old header was the biggest picture a photo with Holy Night Story, which I love too. And just a photo for the new header...no. So I decided to take this photo as a reference for a drawing!
Hello there, first sketch!
More details...but some things changed to the finished drawing. The print is inspired by APs Holy Night Story.
When I was in the middle of the coloring process, I almost gave up. >///<
Detail of the head. At first I thought I messed up her hair. But luckily I could correct the colour.

Here it is! There is no background, because in the header this part is transparent. Unfortunately, I have failed at this point. It's not well done, but I'll continue to look for a better solution.
I hope you like my new header! (^_^)

And why Moonlight Melodies?
Because I've been using the name Louyse Lalelu for a long time. The "Lalelu" is from a lullaby for children. And it fits perfectly with my first name. Usually lullabies are sung in the evening or at night, so the blog name should have something to do with the night. It should sound dreamy. And there should be two words that go together. Moonlight Melodies by Louyse Lalelu. I think it's a good name. ^__^ What do you think?

 Thank you for reading! (^_^)/

Art post: pastel stars and green roses

Hello readers!

Do you remember this picture?
Pretty much all these drawings are now coloured. ^ - ^ It took me years to finish something.
Unfortunately I lost the pictures of the work in process. The picture above is the only one I could find.

I'm not happy. Usually I photograph my colored pictures, because the scanner destroys everything.
But that's not an optimal solution. It works better than the scanner, but it's still not a perfect reproduction of the original. >///< This is why I try it in a different way now.
I just edited the pictures with my image editing program and created a "new picture".

So, these are the finished drawings:

This is an A4 sheet on which I drew two completely different pictures. ^∇^It looks like a dark and a light twin.
The color doesn't look good here. Above (on the twin picture) they are better. `)
This is my favorite of the twin picture. It's because, there are some of my favorite colours in this pic. And the necklace is inspired by one of my necklaces. ^-^
A little close-up. Even here you can't see all the shades of colour of the original. U_U But maybe you get an idea of it.

And it's an anniversary today!   (。⌒∇⌒)
One year ago (
on the 16th November 2011) I wrote the first blog entry!
A year is now around. Let's hope for another. ^u^
It's great that people are interested in what I'm doing. I hope you'll also like my future drawings and photos and all that! First of all, I do things that I like. (▽≦) That other people like it too is great.
Thanks to all who follow me and to all who support me.
*3^)

That's all for now.
Thanks for reading!
